During their match against Maghreb Fes, Nahdat Zemamra's Amine Azri made Moroccan football history by scoring the league's fastest goal. At the "Hassan II Stadium" in Fes on Matchday 12 of the Moroccan Pro League, Azri scored the game's first goal just nine seconds into the contest, giving Zemamra a thrilling 1-0 victory.
The goal, which was verified following a VAR review, is equal to the record set by Samir Malcuit, who also scored for Maghreb Fes against FAR Rabat in nine seconds. They are presently behind by Gabryel Ouattara's 12-second goal and Ayoub Mallouki's 10-second goal.
Azri also surpassed this season’s previous fastest goal, scored by Khalid Baba in 33 seconds during Round 8.
The historic strike not only brought victory to Zemamra but added a new chapter to Moroccan football’s annals.
