During the international breaks, while national teams across Europe battle for a spot in Euro 2024, the German national team engages in friendly matches.

Germany, set to host the continental championship next year, secured an early pass to the tournament's final stage, making these friendly encounters the only means of preparation for Euro 2024.

However, the "Bundesteam" hasn't displayed remarkable results. Despite playing ten matches against national teams from various continents, Germany has only secured victory thrice. They've even undergone a change in management. Following Hans-Dieter Flick's tenure, during which they failed to progress from the group stage in the last World Cup, another German, Julian Nagelsmann, took over the reins.

Yet, the managerial shift hasn't significantly boosted the team's performance. Over this period, the German national team has played three matches, managing just one win. Interestingly, this victory came on October 14, the day Nagelsmann signed his contract, when the team defeated the United States 3-1. Subsequently, they drew with Mexico (2-2), and yesterday, they succumbed to the Turkish national team (2-3).

Kai Havertz opened the scoring in the match as early as the fifth minute, following a pass from Leroy Sane. However, before the conclusion of the first half, the Germans conceded two goals. Despite Nicklas Fuellkrug's goal, courtesy of Florian Wirtz's assist, equalizing the score, they couldn't maintain it and conceded the decisive third goal in the 70th minute.

This might be a tactical approach by the coach or perhaps Nagelsmann is still assessing his players, but it's evident that the German national team is not currently exhibiting its best football.
