Former NBA player Montrezl Harrell, who is currently playing for the Adelaide 36ers in the Australian National Basketball League (NBL), was involved in a massive brawl during his team’s game against Melbourne United.
Details: The incident occurred early in the fourth quarter. After Harrell was called for a foul, a confrontation broke out between him and Melbourne United guard Rob Loe. Tensions quickly escalated, and players from both teams started shoving each other. Soon, other players joined the fray.
The fight spilled beyond the court and into the stands. According to ESPN, fans were seen pushing Adelaide players and the team’s general manager. Several spectators were escorted out of the arena after clashing with Harrell and other players.
Reminder: Montrezl Harrell has been playing in the Australian Basketball League since 2024. He is best known for his time in the NBA, where he played for teams such as the Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Houston Rockets.
