(VIDEO). Fans incredibly saw off the players for the French Cup semi-final match

Tomorrow, on April 2nd, the bottom-ranked team of Ligue 2, Valenciennes, will play the semi-final match of the Coupe de France away against Lyon.

Today, the team traveled to Lyon for the match, and the fans gave the players an incredible send-off. Supporters brought flares and organized a show right next to the airplane.

For Valenciennes, this will be their first Coupe de France semi-final since 1970 when they lost to Nantes. The club has only reached the final once, back in the distant 1950/51 season.

Valenciennes currently occupies the last place in Ligue 2 and has virtually no chance of avoiding relegation.
