Aston Villa and Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez has been involved in a rather unsportsmanlike incident following Argentina's 1-2 defeat to Colombia in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Details: During the match, Colombian fans consistently whistled at Martínez every time he touched the ball.
After the game, a cameraman from TyC Sports approached Martínez, but the goalkeeper, frustrated, punched the camera to avoid being filmed.
Reminder: Argentina defeated Colombia in the final of the 2024 Copa América, where Martínez was named the tournament's best goalkeeper.
Despite this recent defeat, Argentina still leads the 2026 World Cup qualifiers with 18 points after 8 rounds.
