(VIDEO) Emiliano Martinez has distinguished himself with another scandalous incident

In modern football, it is difficult to find a goalkeeper as flamboyant as Emiliano Martinez. During the second round of the group stage against Chile, he once again demonstrated his unique style.

When Lautaro Martinez scored the winning goal for Argentina in the 88th minute after a corner kick, the Aston Villa goalkeeper ran to celebrate right in front of the stands filled with Chilean fans. He jumped onto the advertising boards and celebrated demonstratively in front of them.

The reaction from the Chilean fans was unmistakable, with many immediately showing the goalkeeper the middle finger.

As a reminder, after the World Cup final, during the award ceremony, Martinez took the "Golden Glove" and made a suggestive gesture with it. He is also known for constantly provoking opponents with his dances during penalty shootouts.

Thanks to the victory over Chile, the Argentina national team has secured a place in the quarterfinals as group leaders. The final group stage match against Peru will no longer have any tournament significance for the world champions.
