Donald Trump made an unexpected appearance at UFC 309, held at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City. This marked his first public outing at a sporting event since his election as president.

Details: Trump entered the arena alongside UFC CEO Dana White. White, a long-time friend of Trump, has been a vocal supporter of the former president throughout the 2024 election campaign.

Upon entering the venue, Trump immediately made his way to Joe Rogan, the host of the popular podcast, who has also been a strong supporter of the ex-president. A short time later, a special video tribute to Donald Trump appeared on the giant screen in the arena, which was met with a standing ovation.
