The 31-year-old Belgian goalkeeper of Real Madrid, Thibaut Courtois, conducted his first training session.

Currently, Thibaut is following an individualized training program. Initially, this was announced by the coach of the royal club, Carlo Ancelotti, after the team's victory in the Copa del Rey Round of 16 against Arandina:

“Courtois trained on the field this morning, lightly, gradually. We're not in a hurry,” stated Carlo.

Thibaut himself later confirmed his return, posting a video from his training session on his Twitter:

“The energy that comes from putting on your boots and stepping onto the pitch is indescribable!” Thibaut captioned the post.

In early August 2023, Courtois suffered a cruciate ligament tear.

Courtois has been part of the Madrid club since 2018. During this period, he participated in 230 matches, keeping a clean sheet in 91 of them. The goalkeeper's current contract with the club is valid until the summer of 2026.
