Many teams are gradually returning after the Christmas holidays. Inter Miami is no exception, commencing preparations for the upcoming MLS season.

Due to active engagement in the transfer market, David Beckham's team has augmented its roster with a plethora of distinguished players. Among the recent additions to the American club is none other than Luis Suárez.

Consequently, Inter Miami's training sessions, considering the players on the field, are resembling those of Barcelona during the period from 2014 to 2020. The MLS squad already boasts four former Blaugrana players: Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, and Luis Suárez.

All these players are esteemed legends of the Catalan club, dedicating many years of their careers to playing for Barcelona. Luis Suárez featured for Barcelona from 2014 to 2020, Jordi Alba from 2012 to 2023, Sergio Busquets from 2005 to 2023, and Lionel Messi from 2000 to 2021.

The new MLS season kicks off on February 22, with Inter Miami being the inaugural match. The team, adorned with former Barcelona players, will face Real Salt Lake, albeit not from Madrid, on their opening fixture.

The first match of the current year for Beckham's team will take place on January 20 against the Salvadoran national team in a friendly match. Following that, another friendly match awaits against an American team, after which the team will embark on a journey to Saudi Arabia, where encounters with Neymar's team, Al-Hilal, and later against Al-Nassr with Ronaldo, await them. In early February, Inter Miami will visit Asia for two friendly matches, concluding their preseason preparation with a home game against the Argentine side Newell's Old Boys.
