Justin Watson delivered an astonishingly fast knockout at BKFC 69, defeating Cole Ferrell in just 2.9 seconds. This strike set a new record for the fastest knockout in combat sports history.

Details. Watson, who was considered the underdog, landed a devastating punch almost immediately after the fight began. Referee Brian Miner stopped the fight just two seconds after the opening bell.

"2.9 seconds," exclaimed BKFC founder and president David Feldman, holding a stopwatch in disbelief. "The fastest knockout in combat sports history. Incredible."

Context. Previously, a Chinese fighter was carried out on a stretcher after a brutal knockout. Shi Min delivered a head kick to Xiaokan and landed several follow-up strikes before the referee stopped the fight.
