(VIDEO) A taxi driver asked Yamal to record his daughter's appeal. Her reaction won everyone over

Seventeen-year-old winger Lamine Yamal of Barcelona is rapidly becoming one of the most recognizable footballers in the world, and he recently became the star of a deeply touching video.

Details: Last week, Yamal took an Uber for a trip around the city. Unsurprisingly, the driver recognized his famous passenger.

Realizing that the young star was sitting in the back seat, the driver asked Yamal to record a message for his daughter, who is a huge fan of the player. Lamine happily obliged, and the girl’s reaction upon seeing the video melted the hearts of everyone who watched.

Reminder: In case you missed it, Barcelona has won all six of its opening matches of the La Liga season, with Yamal contributing three goals and five assists.

Just last week, Yamal scored his first goal in the UEFA Champions League, although Barcelona suffered a 1-2 defeat to Monaco.
