Victories for Shakhtar and Lazio. Champions League results

The first matches of the next Champions League matchday have taken place. The matches took place on Tuesday, 28 November. Lazio played against Celtic at home and Shakhtar played with bAntwerp.

Lazio vs Celtic - 2:0

Lazio controlled the game in the first half, but neither the hosts nor the visitors managed to score. After the break, the Eagles pushed their opponents even further towards their goal. But the goals came rather late. Immobile's double in the 82nd and 85th minutes brought Lazio a confident victory in the match.

The Italian team gained ten points and currently leads Group E.

Shakhtar vs Antwerp 1:0

The Ukrainian club opened the scoring in the 12th minute. Mykola Matvienko scored a header after a free-kick. The game continued in a calm scenario and no one scored in the first half. In the second half, both teams had chances. Shakhtar played on the counter-attack and were sharper. The crossbar saved Anwerp twice.

The Miners held on to a minimal lead, gained nine points and at least guaranteed themselves a place in the Europa League.
