This victory marked a milestone—the 100th win for Emery as Aston Villa boss, making him the first manager in club history to reach the century mark in just 181 matches.
No other Aston Villa manager has ever achieved 100 wins in such a short span of time.
Unai Emery took charge of Aston Villa in 2022. Under his command, the team has played 181 matches, recording 32 draws, 49 defeats, and—as previously mentioned—100 wins!
His current contract with Aston Villa runs until the summer of 2029.
