Victor Osimhen Scores Winner as Galatasaray Beat Beşiktaş in Istanbul Derby

Victor Osimhen scored the decisive goal as Galatasaray S.K. secured a 1–0 victory over rivals Beşiktaş in the Istanbul derby at Tüpraş Stadyumu.

The Nigerian striker headed home in the first half to seal the win, taking his tally to 11 goals and four assists in the Turkish Süper Lig this season.

The match became more heated in the second half when Leroy Sané was sent off in the 62nd minute after a stamp on Barış Alper Yılmaz, leaving Galatasaray to manage the remainder of the match under pressure.

The result keeps Galatasaray at the top of the league table with 61 points, seven ahead of Fenerbahçe.
