Eduardo Domínguez’s candid remarks after Estudiantes’ Copa Argentina exit prompted a high-level meeting at Estadio UNO. As reported by 0221.com.ar, club president Juan Sebastián Verón met with sporting director Marcos Angeleri and football executive Diego Ronderos to address growing tensions within the institution.

Verón clarified during the meeting that Brazilian manager Carina Magnabosco is not being brought in to replace Angeleri. In turn, Angeleri asked the president to mediate between Magnabosco and Domínguez in an effort to deescalate the situation.

The coach’s post-match comments suggested serious dissatisfaction, hinting at broken promises, divergent visions, or internal friction. While Domínguez did not name names, it’s evident that Magnabosco’s presence—perceived as a strategic figure for external partnerships—has unsettled him.

Magnabosco, although not part of the meeting, continues to work from her office at Estudiantes' stadium. Her recent appearance at the club's training facility in City Bell further raised eyebrows.

Sources close to Domínguez maintain that he intends to stay on and resume preseason duties on June 17. However, the board must now decide how to manage a leadership structure that appears increasingly strained.
