Two days ago, Manchester United officially dismissed Erik ten Hag from his position as head coach, but the managerial changes don’t end there.
Details: According to The Telegraph, ten Hag's assistant, Ruud van Nistelrooy, will also leave the team. The Dutchman will not be part of the club’s new coaching staff.
It is known that Van Nistelrooy’s appointment was not a decision made by Manchester United's new co-owners from INEOS. The former striker was personally brought in by ten Hag.
In today’s English League Cup match against Leicester, it will be Van Nistelrooy who takes on the role of head coach.
Reminder: It has already been confirmed that Manchester United’s management has reached an agreement for the arrival of Sporting Lisbon’s head coach, Rúben Amorim.
