Van Nistelrooy assesses Liverpool's Premier League title chances

Ruud van Nistelrooy shared his thoughts on Liverpool's chances of winning this season's Premier League after their commanding 3-1 victory over Leicester on Boxing Day, solidifying their position at the top of the table.

Details: Arne Slot's side demonstrated their strength despite an early goal from Jordan Ayew. Responses from Cody Gakpo, Curtis Jones, and Mohamed Salah secured a triumphant win for the Reds at Anfield.

Leicester's manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy, praised Liverpool's remarkable consistency, labeling them favorites for the title:

"In the Premier League, you can never be certain, and a lot can happen, but looking at this team, how stable they are and the depth of their squad, they have a great chance," he said in an interview with BBC Sport.

Reminder: Liverpool currently leads the Premier League table, seven points ahead of their closest competitor, Chelsea, with a game in hand.

In the next round on December 29, Arne Slot's side will face West Ham away.
