Finnish Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas wasted no time dwelling on the announcement of his departure from Sauber. Instead, as The Sun reports, the athlete embarked on an action-packed adventure, making the most of his time off.
Sharing glimpses of his incredible vacation on Instagram, Bottas showcased a whirlwind of activities: cycling, playing beach frisbee, enjoying pool games, hiking, and even getting a tattoo.
Bottas took his bike to the scorching Mojave Desert, known as one of the hottest places on Earth. Trading the desert heat for the cool mountain air, he ventured on a hiking trip where he encountered bear droppings.
In a symbolic gesture reflecting his search for new experiences, Bottas got a thigh tattoo reading “What’s next?”
The announcement of Bottas’s departure from Sauber came with news that young talent Gabriel Bortoleto would replace him as the team’s second driver. While Bottas’s next move remains uncertain, the Finn has expressed readiness for new challenges, hinting that interesting offers are already on the table.
