Valencia and Levante have requested the postponement of their matches due to a deadly fire in the city, as announced on their official website.
On Saturday, February 24, the "bats" are scheduled to play their 26th La Liga match against Granada away. As for Levante, the team from La Liga 2 also has a match on February 24 against Andorra.
According to The Athletic, a fire broke out in Valencia, engulfing two residential buildings. As a result of the tragedy, four people have died, and 15 are considered missing. Players and coaches from the men's first team, women's first team, and Valencia academy teams will observe a minute of silence on February 23 to honor the memory of the deceased before the start of training.
In accordance with the three-day mourning period declared in the city, Valencia will keep flags lowered at their facilities and have added special symbols to their social media avatars.
