Disgraced Valencia forward Rafa Mir, who is currently under investigation for rape allegations, seems to have convinced his club of his innocence, and the ‘bats’ have changed from anger to mercy.

As reported by As, the disciplinary proceedings against the forward have been closed and he has returned to work with the first team. However, during the sessions in the gym he felt muscle discomfort, and so far he will recover before returning to the field.

It will be recalled that in early September, Spanish police paid a visit to Mir's home and charged him with rape. Valencia also started their investigation, in parallel suspending him from training. But the club closed its disciplinary investigation, which is not the case with the law enforcement authorities, who are still analysing the situation.
