The undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, Oleksandr Usyk, has shared his potential plans for the future.
In an interview with 3 Knockdown Rule, the Ukrainian boxer mentioned that he is considering a return to the cruiserweight division to once again become the undisputed champion.
"I think that, perhaps, after the rematch, I might drop down in weight to cruiserweight. We talked about this yesterday. Maybe drop in weight and become the undisputed champion for the second time," Usyk stated.
He added that this plan is quite feasible. The main reason is that when Usyk starts a training camp, he constantly has to eat, which he finds difficult and not very enjoyable.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that the IBF has confirmed that Daniel Dubois is now the mandatory challenger for Usyk's IBF world title, following the British boxer's triumph over Filip Hrgovic.
