USL Championship Week 10 Recap: Charleston Stays Hot, Oakland Stuns San Antonio

Week 10 of the USL Championship delivered pivotal results across both conferences, highlighting Charleston Battery’s dominance in the East and a chaotic reshuffling in the West. According to USLchampionship.com, Charleston earned a 3–1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rowdies, extending its winning streak to five and climbing the power rankings with Cal Jennings and MD Myers combining for 12 goals across eight matches.

Meanwhile, Loudoun United crushed Lexington SC 5–1 to stay top of the Eastern Conference with 21 points in nine games. Louisville City remained unbeaten but was held to a goalless draw by Pittsburgh Riverhounds, while Detroit City also split points in a 0–0 stalemate with Hartford Athletic, continuing a five-game unbeaten run.

The Western Conference stole headlines as Oakland Roots secured a historic 2–1 win at San Antonio FC, their first ever against the Texan club. The result launched them up seven spots in the rankings. Phoenix Rising also turned heads with a 2–1 road win over New Mexico United, who dropped five places after back-to-back losses. Elsewhere, Sacramento Republic and Indy Eleven drew level, while El Paso Locomotive and FC Tulsa played to a balanced 1–1 tie.
