US national team has identified Klopp's replacement. Straight from a top MLS club

The US national team seems to have come to terms with the fact that right now they will not be able to invite Jürgen Klopp to the post of head coach, and have already found a replacement for him.

According to Goal, the Yankees have decided not to go far and invite a specialist from the domestic championship. It is believed that the main contender to become Gregg Belhalter's successor as head coach of the U.S. national team is considered a domestic specialist, Steve Cherundolo.

Now the 45-year-old coach is the manager of the leader of the Western Conference of MLS - Los Angeles FC, which has 43 points in the standings. The same number of Real Salt Lake and their neighbours from LA Galaxy, but it is FC Los Angeles is in first place due to the smaller number of matches played.

Recall that earlier the US national team considered the candidacy of the former manager of Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund, but Klopp himself rejected the proposal, saying that he wants to take a break from football.
