Details: On its official page on social network X, Liverpool announced the contract extension with the legendary Mohamed Salah.

Salah's new contract with Liverpool is set until the summer of 2027. His previous agreement was expiring this June, and the club risked losing its leader as a free agent.

Salah is having a phenomenal current season. In 45 matches across all competitions, the Egyptian has tallied 32 goals and 22 assists.

Reminder: It was previously reported that Liverpool is also set to extend the contract with its captain Virgil van Dijk.
