Barcelona will be unable to rely on Dani Olmo and Pau Victor for the second half of the season. This decision was made by the LALIGA-RFEF Monitoring Committee, as reported by La Liga's official website.

After further review, the Monitoring Committee has decided not to issue either the provisional approval or the final license requested by Barcelona for Dani Olmo and Pau Victor.

Both players joined Barcelona in the summer of 2024. However, the Catalan club was only able to register them until December 31 due to financial constraints. It was anticipated that the club would resolve its financial issues before renewing their registrations. However, the Monitoring Committee ruled that players whose licenses were revoked during the season cannot receive a license to continue playing for the same club with which they were registered.

Olmo remains under contract with Barcelona until the summer of 2030, while Viktor's deal runs through 2029. Nevertheless, neither player will be eligible to compete in domestic competitions for the remainder of the current season. It is likely that the Catalan club will have to sell both players.

In the 2024/2025 season, Dani Olmo played 15 La Liga matches and scored six goals. Pau Victor featured in 17 matches, netting two goals.

We previously reported that Dani Olmo could miss out on playing for the Spanish national team in the summer due to his situation with Barcelona.
