In the UEFA Champions League semi-final, Atletico Madrid are hosting Arsenal, and midway through the second half the Spanish side lost a key player.
Details: In the 77th minute, Argentine striker Julian Alvarez asked to be substituted after picking up an injury in a challenge with an Arsenal player.
Incidentally, Julian Alvarez became the first player in Atletico history to score 10 goals in a single European Cup/Champions League season.
Reminder: As soon as the players of Atletico Madrid and London’s Arsenal emerged from the tunnel, the stands erupted — and not only with applause. Loyal Colchoneros supporters showered the pitch with thousands of rolls of toilet paper.
