Unstoppable. Swiatek defeats another opponent at Roland Garros

World number one Iga Świątek impressively secured her spot in the semifinals of Roland Garros 2024.

In today’s quarterfinal match, the Polish tennis star dispatched the sixth-ranked Markéta Vondroušová in just 1 hour and 4 minutes.

Throughout the match, Świątek conceded only 2 games to the Czech player. She won the first set 6-0 and the second 6-2.

In the previous round, Świątek didn't lose a single game to Anastasia Potapova, achieving the fastest victory in Roland Garros history.

In the semifinals, Świątek will face Coco Gauff, who triumphed over Ons Jabeur today.
