Unstoppable. Al-Hilal secures its thirtieth consecutive victory

In the 23rd round of the Saudi Professional League, Al-Hilal traveled as guests to Al-Riyadh. This match took place on Friday, March 8th.

Early in the match, the guests opened the scoring in the 11th minute, courtesy of Mitrovic, but his goal was disallowed for offside. The misfortune of the Serbian striker did not end there. Al-Hilal continued to dominate on the football pitch and towards the end of the first half, they earned a penalty. It was Mitrovic himself who stepped up to take it, but he failed to convert. The teams went into halftime with a 0-0 draw.

After the break, the scoring was opened, quite unexpectedly, by the Al-Riyadh team. This occurred in the 52nd minute, thanks to an own goal by Al-Bolaehi. It took Al-Hilal 15 minutes to equalize. The guests earned another penalty, and Ruben Neves successfully converted it. Just eight minutes later, Neves turned into an assistant, providing an assist to Michael. The final touch in the match was provided by Aleksandar Mitrovic, who finally converted a penalty in injury time.

Al-Hilal emerges victorious with a scoreline of 3-1, securing their 30th consecutive victory. Jorge Jesus' team now gathers 65 points and edges closer to the championship.
