Unity Cup: Francis Uzoho to Captain Super Eagles Against Zimbabwe

Francis Uzoho will captain Nigeria in tonight’s Unity Cup semi-final clash against Zimbabwe.

The experienced goalkeeper has been handed the armband following the absence of regular captain Wilfred Ndidi and senior forward Moses Simon.

Uzoho, who plays for Omonia Nicosia, is currently the most senior player available in camp and also appeared alongside head coach Éric Chelle during Monday’s pre-match press conference.
