The Chinese Grand Prix in Formula 1 continues. The main qualifying race took place, and the results were extraordinary.

Details: McLaren driver Oscar Piastri won the qualifying race, meaning he will start from pole position for the first time in the main event. Piastri also broke Lewis Hamilton's record for the fastest lap (1:30.641), which, however, was set during the sprint, which took place just a few hours ago.

Reminder: The top five on the starting grid for the main race on March 23, besides Piastri, will include George Russell, Lando Norris, Max Verstappen, and Hamilton. Red Bull driver Liam Lawson was eliminated in the first stage of qualifying, finishing last.
