Unexpectedly. Neymar quotes a biblical psalm after Santos' exit from the Brazil Cup

Santos footballer Neymar, following yet another painful defeat for his team, decided to seek help from above. The Brazilian posted on his Instagram account, quoting the Bible.
Neymar shared a collage of himself in Santos kit, accompanied by words from Psalm 144:1: “Praise be to the Lord, who trains my hands for battle.” He also added a caption to the post, writing, “May God bless and protect us.”
It seems this appeal to the Lord is connected to the recent disappointing performances of his beloved Santos, who this season have found themselves hopelessly stuck at the bottom of the Brazilian Serie A table. The Fish are sitting 19th after nine rounds, with just one win and five points to their name.
On top of that, the team was eliminated from the Brazil Cup yesterday, losing on penalties to CRB. Neymar, finally recovered from injury, came on midway through the second half and even converted his spot-kick in the shootout, but it wasn’t enough for Santos to win the match or advance to the next round.
