Details: According to Sport, Sergio Busquets is eager to kick off his coaching career and has already held talks with Barcelona about potentially joining the Barça Atlètic staff. One of the options on the table is taking up the role of assistant coach.
Reports suggest that Busquets has yet to obtain the required coaching licenses. That’s why working alongside Juliano Belletti could give him the perfect chance to gain invaluable experience, get a deep dive into training routines, and prepare for a solo managerial career.
No final agreement has been reached yet, but the legendary midfielder’s return to the Catalan club’s structure is looking increasingly possible.
It’s worth noting that Busquets made 722 appearances for Barcelona’s first team and collected 32 trophies with the club.
