Unexpected Premier League option! Atlético forward offered to English giants

Norwegian striker Alexander Sørloth could make a surprise return to the English Premier League during the current transfer window.

Details: According to Turkish transfer insider Ekrem Konur, intermediaries have offered the services of the 30-year-old Norwegian forward to Arsenal and Manchester United. Both English clubs are currently actively exploring the transfer market in search of attacking reinforcements.

The Norwegian striker himself is reportedly willing to leave Atlético in search of regular playing time at the highest level. Meanwhile, the Madrid club's hierarchy are prepared to let the player go, but have set one key condition: the transfer will only be approved if Atlético first secure a suitable replacement in attack.

It is worth noting that the Norwegian striker enjoyed a productive spell for Atlético during the 2025/26 season, scoring 13 goals in La Liga. According to respected portal Transfermarkt, the 30-year-old is valued at €18 million, while his contract with the Madrid club runs until the summer of 2028.
