Manchester United continues its search for a new head coach after parting ways with Ruben Amorim.

It’s noted that Tuchel’s name is being mentioned most often behind the scenes at Old Trafford regarding the new managerial appointment. The club’s board values his experience at elite clubs and his proven ability to deliver results at the highest level. For now, Tuchel is at the helm of the England national team and is set to lead them at the 2026 World Cup.

The final decision on the next head coach is expected to be made this summer.

It’s worth noting that after Amorim’s departure, Manchester United has already played one match. Darren Fletcher took charge for that game, but the team couldn’t secure a win—settling for a 2-2 draw.

Reminder: Manchester United showed interest in Simone Inzaghi following Amorim’s exit, but the Italian turned down the offer.
