Unexpected. Nottingham Forest targets Victor Osimhen

Manchester United considers Victor Osimhen as one of their targets for the summer, but the "Red Devils" face competition for the Nigerian from a Premier League rival.

Details. According to TEAMtalk, Nottingham Forest is eyeing a summer transfer for Osimhen, as the "Foresters" aim to sign a renowned striker to compete in the Champions League next season.

The transfer is only considered if Forest truly finishes the season in the top five of the Premier League in the current campaign.

The club's owner, Evangelos Marinakis, has made it clear that he wants a world-class forward added to Nuno Espírito Santo's team for the next season. The club is also interested in Viktor Gyökeres; however, he is not keen on the move.

Even if Nottingham Forest qualifies for the Champions League, they may face difficulties in acquiring a top-level striker in the summer, but this won't deter their efforts.

Reminder. It was previously reported that Nottingham Forest might break their club record for the transfer of Cunha.
