Unexpected move! Youssouf Fofana could join a top English club
Manchester United have set their sights firmly on midfielder Youssouf Fofana and are preparing to make a concrete offer for his transfer.
Details: According to Vamos Mi Sevilla, the English club plans to approach Milan about a transfer as early as the winter window. The 27-year-old French midfielder has been impressing in Spain with Sevilla, where he joined on loan until the end of the 2026/27 season.
As the loan agreement with the Andalusian club includes neither a purchase option nor an obligation to buy, the situation will require a complicated resolution. To accept the English giants’ offer, Milan would have to terminate the loan agreement early and pay Sevilla financial compensation for breaking the deal.
Despite this, Fofana’s assured performances in midfield and his goal against Barcelona have attracted serious attention from scouts, making him one of INEOS’ top targets to strengthen their Premier League squad.
Fofana has already made four appearances for Sevilla, scoring one goal. A move to Manchester could cost the club around €15 million.
