The future of Karim Benzema at Al Hilal has been thrown into serious doubt.

Details: According to insider Indykaila, Al Hilal management is considering the possibility of terminating Karim Benzema's contract by mutual agreement.

This scenario could become a reality if the Saudi club manages to sign another prolific striker.

Interestingly, this news comes amid reports of Al Hilal's interest in Victor Osimhen. Earlier, it was reported that the club would need to part ways with Benzema to free up a spot for the possible arrival of the Nigerian forward.

Benzema officially joined Al Hilal on February 2, 2026, after leaving Al Ittihad.

Karim Benzema began his professional career at Lyon, then moved to Real Madrid in 2009, where he spent 14 seasons and won 25 trophies, including five Champions League titles. In 2022, the Frenchman claimed the Ballon d'Or. In the summer of 2023, the striker left Madrid and continued his career at Al Ittihad, with whom he won the Saudi Pro League and the Saudi Cup, before transferring to Al Hilal in February 2026.
