Unexpected. Ex-Real Madrid player could move to Barcelona

Barcelona have only completed two transfers in the current transfer window, but another move the Blaugrana are plotting could disrupt the market.

According to Sky Sports, the Catalan club are making enquiries about Tottenham defender Sergio Reguilon, who is being brought up by far from friendly Real Madrid.

So far it is too early to talk about the transfer as such, as Barcelona are still studying all the nuances of the deal to pull it off with maximum benefit. This is influenced by the fact that the 27-year-old defender's contract with Tottenham is valid for another year.

The Spurs themselves do not mind saying goodbye to the Spaniard, as Regillon is not part of the plans of Ange Postecoglou and there is no place for him in the team.

Earlier it was reported that Tottenham are ready to say goodbye to the 27-year-old defender for £10 million.
