Unexpected. Balotelli is in talks with a Spanish amateur club

Days, weeks, months go by as Mario Balotelli cannot find a new club. Different teams are showing interest in the Italian, and one of them was found in Spain. However, it's not even close to a Segunda team.

Details: According to Mundo Deportivo, negotiations with the Italian forward are now being conducted by Spanish third division club Intercity. It's too early to talk about a transfer, but important steps have been taken in the last few hours to make the transfer happen. There is talk of a contract for two years.

Reminder: Primera Federacion is the highest in the hierarchy of semi-amateur and amateur leagues in Spain. Intercity is mostly known for its performances in the Spanish Cup of the season 2022/2023, where the team was close to throw out of the tournament Catalan Barcelona.
