The Matchday 15 fixture of the Ukrainian Premier League between Kharkiv's Metalist 1925 and Veres has been suspended and will not be completed today.
The reason is power outages caused by the ongoing Russian military invasion. Ukraine's energy infrastructure continues to suffer from drone and missile strikes, resulting in rolling blackouts across the country.
Because of this, the match, which was taking place in Zhytomyr, cannot be finished today. The fate of the game will be determined later. Reports suggest that Metalist, as the home side, could be handed a technical defeat.
