The main event of tomorrow night's boxing in Riyadh will be the bout for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury. However, on the undercard, another Ukrainian boxer, Denys Berinchyk, will fight for the WBO featherweight title for the first time in his career against Mexican Emanuel Navarrete.

At the pre-fight press conference, Berinchyk surprised everyone with his speech, in which he reminded the audience about the war in Ukraine. He began by playing an air raid siren on his phone, a sound that the people of his country hear daily.

“This sound means that Russia is taking someone's life or destroying something. Every day, or several times a day. However, our defenders continue their work minute by minute. Therefore, I would first like to thank the Ukrainian warriors, thanks to whom I was able to train and come here,” said Berinchyk.

On a professional level, Berinchyk has fought 18 bouts, remaining undefeated and knocking out his opponents 9 times.

Navarrete has fought 40 bouts, with 31 knockouts and only 1 loss.
