It was an action-packed weekend for Ugandan players abroad. In Cyprus, Bevis Mugabi scored his first goal for Anorthosis Famagusta in a 4-2 Cypriot Cup win over Omonia Aradipou. In England, Divine Mukasa continued his stellar form, scoring twice as Manchester City U18 defeated Stoke City U18 4-1.

In South Africa, Salim Jamal kept a clean sheet for Richards Bay in their 1-0 win, while Khalid Aucho played the full match as Young Africans held TP Mazembe to a 1-1 draw in the CAF Champions League.

Elsewhere, Steven Mukwala featured in Simba SC's 2-1 comeback victory against CS Sfaxien in the CAF Confederation Cup. Meanwhile, Kenneth Semakula came off the bench to help Club Africain to a 3-0 victory, taking them to the top of the Tunisian league table.
