During today's UFC Vegas 89 tournament, an unusual incident occurred. Brazilian fighter Igor Severino was disqualified during the second round for biting his opponent on the bicep. His compatriot, Andre Lima, shouted and signaled to the referee to stop the fight. The fighter raised his left hand to show the bite mark, and the officials reviewed the footage before making the decision to disqualify Severino.

The victory was awarded to his fellow countryman, Andre Lima. In addition to the win, by the personal order of UFC director Dana White, Lima was awarded a prize of $50,000 and dubbed "Bite of the Night."

After the tournament, Lima decided not to let it go and headed to a tattoo parlor. He wanted to immortalize the bite on his arm and got a tattoo in its place.

Initially, Dana White intended to award the Brazilian a prize of $25,000, but after seeing the tattoo on social media, he decided to double it.

It is worth noting that for Igor Severino, this fight was his first in the UFC, but after this incident, Dana White informed the combat sports website keviniole.com that Severino would be excluded from the UFC.
