Albania's Mirlind Daku has been penalised for shouting insults at Serbia after the European Championship match against Croatia (2:2).

The Albanian Football Federation reported that UEFA officially suspended the forward for two matches of the continental championship.

Recall, after the match against Croatia, the Albanian striker along with fans shouted into the microphone xenophobic call "Kill, kill the Serb!".

This provoked an angry reaction from the Serbian Football Federation. The Serbs even threatened to withdraw from the tournament, but came out for the 2nd round match against Slovenia.

Albania will play Spain in the final third round of the group stage. The team has one point.
