UEFA Nations League 2024/25: All division changes and playoff participants?

The UEFA Nations League group stage is nearing its conclusion. On Tuesday, November 19, the final matches of the sixth round will take place.
This round will determine which teams will be promoted to higher divisions, who will face relegation, and who will advance to the playoffs. The Dailysports team has compiled information on which teams will reach the playoffs, which teams will be relegated from League A, and which will replace them from League B.
League A
- Playoff participants: Portugal, Croatia, France, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, and Denmark.
- Teams entering relegation playoffs: Serbia, Hungary, Belgium, Scotland.
- Relegated teams: Poland, Israel, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Switzerland.
League B
- Promoted directly to League A: England, Norway, Czech Republic, Wales
- Teams entering promotion playoffs for League A: Greece, Austria, Ukraine, Turkey
- Teams entering relegation playoffs: Slovenia, Ireland, Ireland, Georgia
- Relegated teams: Finland, Kazakhstan, Montenegro.
League C
- Promoted directly to League B: Sweden, Northern Ireland, North Macedonia, Romania
- Teams entering promotion playoffs for League B: Slovakia, Kosovo, Bulgaria, Armenia
- Teams entering relegation playoffs: Latvia, Luxembourg
- Relegated teams: Azerbaijan, Lithuania
League D
- Promoted directly to League C: San Marino, Moldova.
- Entering promotion playoffs for League C: Gibraltar, Malta
The playoff matches will take place from May 20 to May 25, 2025. During the same period, the League A quarterfinal matches will also be held.
The final stage of the League A Nations League will take place in June. From June 4 to June 8, the semifinals, third-place match, and final will be played.
Reminder: The current UEFA Nations League champion is Spain. Previous winners include Portugal (2019) and France (2021).
