UD Almería are reported to have turned down an offer from Aston Villa for Dion Lopy
The Spanish club are not willing to sell their Senegalese midfielder for less than €20 million.
Aston Villa are looking to sign Dion Lopy this summer. The Senegalese midfielder is one of the English club’s main targets. And the Villans have already made an initial approach to UD Almeria.
Aston Villa made an offer of €17 million to Dion Lopy’s club, according to reports in La Voz Deportes. However, the Spanish club has reportedly turned down this offer, the same source claims. Almeria are open to negotiations with suitors for the Senegalese player but will not accept less than €20 million.
The defensive midfielder has scored three goals and provided two assists in 26 appearances this season for his club in La Liga 2. Dion Lopy’s contract with Almeria runs until 2029.
