U17 World Cup : Mali faces New Zealand this Wednesday

The Malian national football team's opening match in the U17 World Cup is scheduled for Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 3:00 PM GMT in Qatar. Looking to secure a victory against New Zealand in this first challenge, the match promises to be a crucial duel in Group L.

Building on their excellent past performances (silver medal in 2015, bronze in 2017 and 2023), the young Malians, led by coach Adama Diallo, have only one goal: to surpass their previous achievements and reach the U17 World Cup final.

Facing them, New Zealand, an equally experienced team, will employ all available strategies to overcome their opponent. Therefore, winning this first match is essential to set the tone for their new global adventure.
