U17 World Cup 2025: Malian coach confident ahead of match against Zambia
Just hours before the crucial match against the Zambian U17 team, in the round of 32 of the U17 World Cup, the Malian coach is feeling confident.
With the match scheduled for Friday, November 14, the coach of the Young Eagles, Adama Djefla Diallo, is both calm and determined in the face of Zambia.
Speaking to the press, the coach gave an update on the state of his squad:
“The team is doing well, both mentally and physically. The defeat against Austria affected the younger players, but the victory against Saudi Arabia allowed them to regain their confidence,” said Adama Djefla Diallo.
Aware of the importance of the knockout match, the coach promises a well-honed tactical approach.
“We will strive to maintain possession of the ball and create numerous chances. At this stage, every match is a final. Winning tomorrow is essential for us.”
This Friday, against a Zambian side in top form, the Young Eagles will have to make a significant effort to secure the victory and continue their journey.
