SugarHill Steward, the trainer of former world champion Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs), is now assisting promising American heavyweight boxer Jared Anderson (17-0, 15 KOs) in his preparation for a fight against Martin Bakole (20-1, 15 KOs).

Interestingly, Anderson was recommended to Steward by Turki Al-Sheikh, head of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority.

“I want to thank Jared Anderson for heeding my advice and reaching out to SugarHill Steward to prepare him for the upcoming fight,” Al-Sheikh wrote.

This decision means Anderson will part ways with his former boxing trainer Kay Koroma, as well as Derry Riley, the person who initially taught him boxing.

The Anderson vs. Bakole fight is set for August 3.

Previously, it was reported that Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund is negotiating with leading promotional companies worldwide to create its own boxing league, which could launch as early as 2025.
