Tyson Fury stated that after defeating Oleksandr Usyk, he will retain only the WBC belt for himself

The British boxer Tyson Fury has announced that he will relinquish the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO belts if he defeats Oleksandr Usyk.

"I will defeat Oleksandr Usyk. I am the WBC champion, and I will receive the Ring magazine belt for the third time. I am not concerned about the other belts. I will simply vacate them and allow someone else to contend for those titles, keeping for myself what is rightfully mine," said Fury.

The bout between Tyson and Usyk is scheduled for February 17, 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
